Human Resources And Safety Manager
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all human resource functions including safety, labor and employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee engagement and retention, and talent acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong safety culture including new hiring and ongoing training, training development, conducting, and leading safety meetings and OSHA compliance and accident investigations.
- Manage all talent acquisition initiatives from sourcing through onboarding.
- Oversee union labor-relations matters including communications with union representatives, resolution of grievance and disciplinary actions and participate in union contract negotiations.
- Maintain all Human Resources and related information and data in accordance with legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Direct the administration of group healthcare and other employee benefits.
- Maintain company policies & procedures and adjust as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of Human Resources management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with labor unions, including negotiating contracts and dispute resolution.
- Experience with and excellent working knowledge of administering safety policy and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Safety-related regulatory requirements, both in training and reporting.
- Strong record of creating efficiencies in the administration of HR and Safety processes through process improvement and software automation.
- Bachelors degree in human resources or related disciplines (HRCI, SHRM or similar credentials a plus).
