HR Generalist / Talent Management, HR Manager
We are seeking a hands-on HR leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal professional will be a bilingual English/Spanish HR Partner who will serve as the strategic people leader and sole onsite HR presence for our client's manufacturing facility.
In this role, you will split your focus between strategic growth initiatives, approximately 60%, and operational plant-floor execution, approximately 40%. Working as a direct thought partner to the Plant Manager, you will lead organizational transformation, drive change management, elevate leadership capabilities, and maintain a high-trust, compliant workplace culture.
Requirements- 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate seamlessly in writing and verbally, build trust, and deliver training both on the shop floor and to the executive leadership team
- Deep, current working knowledge of California employment law, including labor regulations, wage and hour compliance, and employee relations
- Proven hands-on experience leading organizational transformation, change management initiatives, workforce planning, talent development, and leadership coaching
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- PHR-CA or SPHR-CA certification is a major plus
Direct Plant Leadership Partner
Drive people strategies aligned with business outcomes in close partnership with the Plant Manager and regional leadership.
Organizational Transformation and Change
Lead cultural and operational shifts across the site while building buy-in among both hourly and salaried teams.
Workforce Planning and Talent Pipelines
Build robust career pathways, succession plans, retention strategies, and talent pipelines to support business growth goals.
Leadership Coaching
Provide daily coaching to shop-floor managers and supervisors to elevate leadership maturity, accountability, and team performance.
Plant-Floor Presence
Maintain a strong, visible presence on the plant floor and serve as the trusted and accessible HR leader for both the hourly and salaried workforce.
California Compliance and Safety
Oversee end-to-end employee relations, workplace investigations, California labor law compliance, wage and hour requirements, and the integration of HR and safety practices.
HR Analytics
Utilize workforce data, HR systems, and analytical tools to track retention, career-path ratios, talent development outcomes, and other key people metrics.
