Job DescriptionThe Digital Workplace & Collaboration Services Lead is a subject matter expert in Microsoft 365, responsible for implementing, and optimizing collaboration and productivity solutions across the organization.
The role ensures secure, compliant, and effective use of M365 services, including Teams, SharePoint (internal and external), One Drive, Exchange Online, and endpoint devices. This role focuses on technical leadership, governance, and digital workplace enablement.
Principal Accountabilities- Serve as the SME and operational owner for Microsoft 365 collaboration and productivity services, including Teams, SharePoint Online (internal and internet‑facing), One Drive, Exchange Online, and M365 Groups, ensuring stable and reliable daily operations.
- Own day‑to‑day M365 service operations, including monitoring service health, handling incidents and escalations, root‑cause analysis, and coordinating remediation with internal IT teams, vendors, and Microsoft support.
- Own and continuously improve Microsoft Purview compliance controls and reporting, partnering with Cybersecurity and data owners to meet regulatory and internal requirements.
- Manage access control, identity management and information protection using Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365, including role‑based access, DLP policies, sensitivity labels, external sharing controls, retention rules, and audit/eDiscovery support.
- Manage endpoint operations and compliance using Microsoft Intune / MDM, ensuring devices remain compliant, patched, secured, and operational throughout their lifecycle.
- Operate and continuously optimize M365 collaboration environments with a focus on availability, performance, change control, standardization and operational resilience.
- Secure that the operational environment is adhering to corporate policies and follows procedures including Cybersecurity.
- Advise IT teams and business stakeholders on best practices, adoption strategies, governance and security in M365.
- Keep the status of compliance, regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR), and internal policies for collaboration tools, conduct impact analyses and recommendations for change.
- Resolve complex M365, SharePoint, Teams, and endpoint issues, coordinating with IT teams, vendors and Microsoft support to ensure operational continuity.
- Monitor usage, adoption and compliance metrics across M365, SharePoint, Teams and endpoints to recommend improvements.

- Configure and optimize Teams, SharePoint Online (internal and internet‑facing), One Drive, Exchange Online and M365 Groups for productivity and secure collaboration.
- Configure, maintain and tune Microsoft Purview policies (e.g., sensitivity labels, DLP, retention/records management) and produce compliance insights and reports for stakeholders.
- Manage corporate devices via Intune / MDM, including provisioning, configuration, security compliance and monitoring.
- Implement and enforce governance policies, naming conventions, access controls, lifecycle management and document security measures across the digital workplace.
- Monitor and report on M365 adoption, Teams usage, SharePoint content health, endpoint compliance and DLP alerts.
