Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned, self-motivated sales professional who is passionate about selling and eager to help prospects understand how our best practice technology solutions and support can benefit them. This role involves pipeline management, follow-up calls, sales team support, agreement reviews, and budgeting. We are specifically seeking candidates located in the Canton area, as this role requires local relationship building and on-site engagement within these markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation activities
- Understand client needs and provide expert advice on suitable IT products and services
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations to potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to ensure a steady pipeline of opportunities
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions in the CRM system
- Proven experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role in the IT industry
- Strong knowledge of IT products and services, including managed services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Associate's degree in business, IT, or a related field is preferred
