Principal IT Finance Analyst — SAP & Enterprise Systems

$110,000-$120,000 base + 10% bonus

North Canton, Ohio (Greater Akron area) | Relocation Assistance Provided | Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote)

This is a newly created role at a global manufacturing organization's headquarters, built specifically to give Finance a strategic technology partner as the company grows. You'll serve as the direct liaison between Finance leadership and IT, owning the systems that run enterprise finance operations.

You won't be inheriting someone else's backlog. This position was created to support digital transformation initiatives and M&A integration work as the organization expands, which means you're building the function's approach to enterprise Finance systems rather than maintaining what's already in place.

You'll lead business systems initiatives end to end: system implementations, integrations, upgrades, and process optimization projects, with real visibility across Finance, IT, and executive leadership.

Mergers and acquisitions are a standing part of the work. You'll help integrate newly acquired companies into the enterprise financial systems, eliminate redundant technology, and standardize platforms across the organization, high-impact work that puts your name on how the company scales.

Compensation includes a 10% annual bonus, a 6%+ 401K match, full benefits, and relocation assistance if you're moving into the Akron area.

• Partnering with Finance leadership and Business Process Owners to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions
• Managing active IT projects across planning, requirements gathering, implementation, testing, and post-deployment support
• Evaluating enterprise software, SaaS platforms, and vendors, including RFPs and implementation partner selection
• Working with Enterprise Architecture and IT development teams on secure system integrations across Finance platforms
• Monitoring the health and performance of enterprise Finance applications and cloud-based technologies
• Leading software upgrades and release management, and briefing stakeholders on business impact
• Supporting M&A integration by bringing acquired companies onto the enterprise financial systems

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field
• 6+ years supporting enterprise Finance systems, business applications, or IT business analysis
• Experience leading small- to medium-sized technology projects from planning through implementation
• Background with SAP and SaaS/cloud-based enterprise platforms and system integrations
• Working knowledge of enterprise integration methods, application architecture, APIs, and data exchange
• Experience gathering and documenting business/functional requirements for software implementations
• Strong understanding of Finance business processes and enterprise financial applications
• Experience operating within audit, governance, compliance, or internal control environments
