Responsibilities And Tasks
- Familiarizing oneself with the different aspects of the operation over the course of six months in preparation for a job assignment.
- Analyze, evaluate, and report on the assigned operational areas during the training process.
- Assuming responsibilities over assigned work areas under the leadership and guidance of a mentor.
- Champion for company-wide safety programs and initiatives.
- This is a Leader of People position with required competencies:
Sizing up People, Delegation, Planning, Customer Focus, and Conflict Management.
- Detail‑oriented, structured, and able to communicate effectively; must possess demonstrated ability to work within timelines and in pressured situations.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills; excellent follow‑through on assigned tasks required for this position; must be able to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.
- User‑level experience with common problem‑solving tools.
- Leadership ability and communication skills are sufficiently strong to communicate and interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient English language knowledge and skills (oral and written).
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office programs including MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to handle and resolve most issues independently.
- Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
- High work capacity, dependable, results‑oriented, and strong sense of urgency.
- Minimum of an associate degree completed in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution.

When In a Plant Environment- Position may require occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Bending, twisting, climbing, stacking, pushing, and walking for long periods of time.
- Extraneous situations may arise that require additional physical demands.
- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- It is necessary that candidates have the capacity to remain calm, considerate, and tactful under unanticipated situations.
- Occasionally work nights, weekends, holidays, and/or long shifts.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- Subject to odors and areas with moderate to extreme levels of noise ranging from 50 dB to 110 dB.
- May be exposed to dust, feathers, and all chemicals used in poultry and food processing facilities.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
- Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors at 10 ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
