OverviewFirestone Complete Auto Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for a results-driven leader with strong customer service and automotive knowledge. The Service Manager oversees daily shop operations, manages the technician team, and ensures every customer receives top-quality service and honest recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership
- Supervise and motivate technicians and service staff to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Coordinate daily workflow and ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance jobs.
- Sales and Customer Relations
- Provide accurate quotes and sell recommended jobs based on vehicle needs.
- Build strong relationships with customers through clear communication and transparency.
- Strive to exceed customer satisfaction goals and store sales targets.
- Operations Management
- Order and manage inventory and parts efficiently to support fast turnaround times.
- Ensure adherence to company processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Assist with payroll management and scheduling to balance labor costs and coverage.
- Performance and Financial Management
- Monitor and manage daily sales, productivity, and profitability metrics.
- Lead by example in achieving individual and team sales goals.
- Contribute to business growth through proactive shop management and staff development.
- Previous experience in automotive service management or a related role preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with point-of-sale and scheduling systems.
- Schedule: Approximately 42 hours per week (full-time, variable schedule including some weekends).
- Compensation:
- Hourly pay plus overtime.
