Develops and executes category plans to drive improvements in supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, supplier service levels, coordination, delivery, pricing, lead‑times, payments and risk mitigation. Executes category sourcing strategies including development and implementation of RFIs and RFPs, selection criteria, supplier negotiation and ongoing supplier management. Engages with operations, production, sales and other cross‑functional teams to ensure ongoing alignment and support of category management or new product introduction goals and objectives.
