We are seeking an experienced and highly organized professional to lead route operations, support field teams, and ensure efficient service delivery across assigned territories. Responsibilities- Oversee daily route planning, scheduling, and execution to support on-time service delivery.
- Monitor route performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost control.
- Coordinate with drivers, dispatch, operations, and customer support teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Review route data, service trends, and operational metrics to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations.
- Support onboarding, coaching, and performance development for route personnel.
- Respond to service escalations and work to maintain strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate with leadership to implement process improvements and operational best practices.
- Assist with route optimization, territory balancing, and resource planning.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication related to route activity and service outcomes.
- Proven experience in route management, logistics, transportation, field operations, or a related operational leadership role.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Experience using route planning, dispatch, CRM, or other operational software tools.
- Ability to analyze performance data and use insights to improve service and efficiency.
- Knowledge of safety practices, compliance requirements, and customer service standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support team members in a collaborative environment.
- Flexibility to respond to operational needs, service issues, and changing priorities.
- Prior experience in a senior-level route, fleet, or logistics leadership position in the Waste Industry.
- Experience with route optimization tools and performance reporting systems.
- Familiarity with large-scale service operations.
- Working knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance practices.
