My client is seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join their production team! Responsibilities
  • Operate and Monitor Machinery:
    Safely run various machines such as mills, lathes, and finishing equipment to perform tasks like turning necks, facing, centering, milling flats, keyways, and applying final finishes. Monitor operations closely to maintain tight tolerances and ensure high-quality output.
  • Set-Up and Tool Changes:
    Prepare machines for production by changing cutters and tools, installing components like pucks, V-blocks, bearings, and drivers, and making adjustments for optimal performance. Use hand tools, wrenches, and cranks to lock/unlock parts.
  • Maintenance and Clean-Up:
    Perform routine preventive maintenance, check fluids, and complete checklists.
  • Quality and Documentation:
    Review prints and specifications, take measurements, inspect parts visually, and mark tools. Complete job-related paperwork, time sheets, and material notes to track production and ensure compliance. Assist with additional tasks as assigned to support team goals.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; A.S. or B.S. in engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience operating mills, lathes, or similar machinery in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to handle physical tasks.
  • Commitment to safety standards, quality, and working efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
