Plastics Injection Molding Process Specialist

• Do you enjoy setting up presses and dialing in parameters until parts run flawlessly?
• Are you equally comfortable packaging product, assembling components, and troubleshooting equipment on the fly?
• Do you take pride in meticulous documentation and measurable improvements like reduced scrap and faster cycle times?

• Set up and start injection molding machines to meet production schedules.
• Monitor quality and efficiency; adjust process parameters as needed.
• Troubleshoot molding equipment, auxiliary systems, and tooling issues.
• Perform routine inspections and execute preventive maintenance as directed.
• Document process changes and maintain accurate production records.
• Operate and troubleshoot a semi-automatic “click‑machine” to assemble chain per specifications.
• Package finished goods and support continuous improvement to drive down scrap and improve cycle times.

• 5:00 am–5:30 pm Friday–Sunday
• 10:30 pm–7:00 am Monday–Friday

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  2+ years of hands‑on injection molding processing.
• Technical knowledge:
  Strong understanding of molding processes, tooling, and semi‑automatic equipment.
• Blueprint reading:
  Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Communication & problem‑solving:
  Clear communicator with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Equipment operation:
  Safe operation of overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Team & independence:
  Comfortable collaborating and working solo.
• Quality assurance:
  Proficient with precision measurement tools and strict quality standards.

• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capability.

Standing for extended periods; ability to lift or push completed product up to 90 pounds.
