Position SummaryThe Folder Gluer Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of Eterna and Moll folder gluer equipment to produce high-quality folded and glued products in accordance with customer specifications and company quality standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining production efficiency, minimizing waste, and ensuring on-time delivery while upholding safety and operational excellence standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Set up and operate Eterna and Moll folder gluer machines according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret job tickets, layouts, and production schedules.
- Adjust machine components including feeders, glue systems, folding rails, compression sections, and delivery systems.
- Monitor glue application, alignment, folding accuracy, and final product quality.
- Perform quality checks to ensure conformance to specifications and SPC standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
- Accurately record production data, downtime, and material usage.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, production schedules, and basic diagrams.
- Understanding of quality standards and ability to perform accurate inspections.
- Ability to use basic measuring tools (rulers, calipers, etc.).
- Basic computer skills for production reporting and data entry.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and maintaining an organized work area.
- Experience operating folder gluers (Eterna, Moll, or similar converting/finishing equipment).
- Experience in commercial printing, packaging, or converting environments.
- Knowledge of adhesives and glue systems.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours).
- Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Manual dexterity to adjust and maintain machinery.
- Visual acuity to inspect printed and finished products.
