CNC Mill Machinist

Snelling Staffing of Canton Ohio is currently looking for 2 experienced Machinists for a steel mill in Canton, OH.

2 shifts to pick from
second shift position 3 PM - 11 PM Mon - Fri
Midnights Sun - Thur 11p-7a
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH MILL MACHINIST
Pay Range is $23 - $25 Per Hour

Duties:
- Set up and operate milling machines to fabricate parts according to blueprints or specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on milling machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts for quality control and make any necessary adjustments
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions of finished parts
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience operating milling machines or similar equipment
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of machining techniques and principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team!
