We are looking for a Production Manager to lead day-to-day production operations, serve as a primary customer liaison, and drive plant performance through strong leadership, planning, and accountability. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and wants to build a culture of excellence.
What You’ll Do- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction through proactive communication and reliable execution
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate plant production activities—including shipping and receiving—to meet customer needs without compromising efficiency
- Translate customer requirements into executable production plans
- Support and embody the company’s Mission and Values in daily operations
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Collaborate with plant leadership to maintain safety, quality, and environmental compliance
- Lead and develop a high‑performing production team focused on safety and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Participate in and at times lead problem‑solving efforts to improve production performance and reduce inefficiencies
- Analyze KPIs and present findings, trends, and improvement strategies during operational meetings
- Coach, mentor, and guide team leads and supervisors to promote safe, efficient, and consistent operations
- Participate in employee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development at all levels of production
- Support fair and consistent performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
Foster a culture of accountability, respect, teamwork, and employee engagement - Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing operations
- Prior leadership experience in a production or operations role
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); AS400 experience is a plus
- Knowledge of the automotive industry and quality systems such as TS16949 and ISO 14001 preferred
- Highly motivated, results‑driven leader with a positive, collaborative approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers
