Machinist

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and set up various machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines to produce precision parts.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing.
  • Measure and inspect finished products to verify conformance to quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Skilled in operating manual and CNC machine tools.
  • Strong understanding of measurement tools and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Relevant technical training or certification in machining or manufacturing technology is preferred.

  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
