Millwright - Canton, OH - Job 26-00355
Pay Range: $32.00 - 34.50/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
Hours: 3PM - 11PM
An established metals manufacturing company in the greater Canton, Ohio area that is seeking to hire an experienced Millwright who has a verifiable, valid This employer offers advanced paid training programs to build upon your existing knowledge making you a more valuable member of the Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up heavy industrial machinery according to blueprints and project specs.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect and test equipment using laser alignment, vibration analysis, and precision tools.
- Safely move and position machinery using hoists, dollies, and cranes.
- Mentor and coach apprentices within the organization's Learner Program.
- High School Diploma, GED, and / or Higher Level of Education.
- Expertise in welding, rigging, and precision measurement.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Experience in a Steel Manufacturing or Foundry environment (preferred).
- Ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Must be comfortable in a foundry/machine shop setting with exposure to ambient temperatures, noise, and dust.
- Ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Strict adherence to PPE (Hard hat, steel-toes, FR gear, harnesses).
