CM Grinder / Polisher - 1st Shift
Canton, Ohio | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
$18-$20/hour
Now hiring experienced Grinder/Polishers for a manufacturing facility specializing in precision metal components. Candidates must have previous stroke sanding experience and the ability to work from blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities:- Grind and sand sharp edges and burrs from parts
- Operate stroke, belt, and orbital sanders
- Use pneumatic grinders and polishing equipment
- Perform finishing work to specification
- Drill, tap, countersink, and ream holes per blueprint
- Locate and weld studs according to prints
- Previous stroke sanding experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong work ethic
- Reliable transportation and stable work history required
