We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in metal fabrication, MIG and TIG welding, blueprint reading, and assembling high-quality metal components. This role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble metal components to specification.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal materials.
- Operate fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, press brakes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, tape measures, and other precision instruments.
- Perform pipe threading, frame/guard fabrication, and mechanical assembly.
- Ensure all work complies with ASME codes and welding standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with material handling and operate forklifts when required.
- Collaborate with team members to complete fabrication projects efficiently.
- Experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters and press brakes.
- Knowledge of ASME welding standards.
- Mechanical aptitude with assembly and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to lift materials and work in a manufacturing environment.
