Position: DIGITAL CREATIVE SPECIALIST

Position Summary

Responsible for supporting the corporate marketing and communications team in the generation of positive messaging and media publicity. Manages assigned communications for Aultman Health System (AHS) including but not limited to websites, mobile applications, social media and other written content.

Department Summary

The Aultman marketing department is responsible for all internal and external communications, advertising and corporate branding. The division includes the media team (graphic design, photos, videos), corporate communications (internal/external communications, public relations, social/digital media) and the print shop. The marketing team works together to ensure consistency and integration of the Aultman brand across the entire Aultman system, working closely with every department and service line in the Aultman family.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, public relations or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in field preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, Linked In, You Tube, Google My Business, etc).
  • Strong conceptualization ability and visual communication ability.
  • Strong understanding of common web development practices.
  • Strong understanding of common video practices and techniques.
  • Basic understanding and application of SEO (keyword research, crafting meta descriptions, writing alt text, website accessibility best practices).
  • Experience with Adobe products preferred (Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform preferred (GA4, Tag Manager, Campaign Manager, Google Ads)

Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Implements AHS’s digital communication strategy. This includes AHS websites, mobile applications and social media integration across all platforms.
  • Maintains a working understanding of SEO, content management systems (examples: Word Press, Silver Stripe, Hub Spot, etc.) and website best-practices while guiding the digital communication strategy and implementation.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to provide thought-leadership and knowledgeable perspective for appropriate adoption.
  • Assists with development and coordination of marketing/advertising projects and campaigns.
  • Works with departments, entities and colleagues to generate positive media publicity.
  • Writes and creates content for web and social media. Assists with writing blog posts, website/social media content and various marketing collateral.
  • Uses various content management systems to create/edit content on websites and intranet.
  • Provides support and guidance for special events such as open houses, grand openings, health fairs and other community events.
  • Works with internal and external technical development teams to accomplish goals.
  • Collaborates with external vendors to implement and maintain third-party applications that support digital marketing goals.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to create and implement engaging content for program-specific web pages and social media campaigns. Optimizes user experience and engagement.
  • Evaluate the success of web content, social media campaigns and advertising campaigns using pre-determined KPIs. Adjusts in strategy where appropriate.
  • Uses analytics to drive decision-making in content strategies and online campaigns (Google Analytics, market research data).
  • Generates content, monitors messaging and scheduling for digital displays throughout AHS.
  • Assists with taking photos and video production. Works with customer and staff videographer to develop content, including scripting, storyboards, visual setup, sound design and communication outlet. Coordinates production and implementation of videos.
  • Supports strategic organizational goals.
