Alumni & Recovery Community Engagement Coordinator

Comm Quest seeks a Part-time or Full-time (up to 30/hrs per week) Alumni & Recovery Community Engagement Coordinator.
The Alumni & Recovery Community Engagement Coordinator exists to support sustained recovery for individuals following treatment by maintaining connections with alumni and fostering engagement with the broader recovery community. This role strengthens long-term recovery outcomes by coordinating outreach, peer connections, events, and volunteer opportunities, while ensuring that feedback from lived experience informs program development. The Coordinator serves as a central point of contact for alumni and recovery community members, both within the organization and in community settings.

Comm Quest Services is one of the largest non-profit mental health, addiction recovery, and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio, working with clients from more than 34 counties in 12 facilities through more than 20 programs. We help people make positive changes in their lives through in-patient, outpatient and school-based programs, along with supportive services - from basic needs to employment assistance.

- Maintain regular outreach and communication with alumni and recovery community participants.
- Recruit and supervise peer support specialists
- Plan, schedule, and facilitate bi-monthly Recovery Council meetings.
- Organize events such as the annual Recovery Picnic and quarterly alumni gatherings.
- Represent the organization at community recovery events, partner meetings, and outreach opportunities.
- Assist with newsletters, announcements, social media content, and other outreach materials
- Track participation, engagement metrics, and outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned
M-F 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (some flexibility). Part-time or Full-time up to 30/hrs per week
Minimum Qualifications:- Experience in behavioral health, recovery support, peer services, or community engagement.
- Certified Peer Recovery certification through the Ohio Professionals Board, required.
- Demonstrated ability to engage individuals in recovery and build supportive relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in both office and community settings.
- Comfort initiating conversations and representing the organization in recovery-oriented spaces.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Availability for rotating on-call shifts, some evenings and weekends required
