Comm Quest seeks a PRN Nurse Practitioner for our locations in Canton, Ohio. You will provide assessments, medications, and other medical treatment directed by your medical supervisor for clients suffering from addiction and mental health conditions.

Comm Quest Services is one of the largest non‑profit mental health, addiction recovery, and social services organizations in Northeast Ohio, working with clients from more than 34 counties in 12 facilities through more than 20 programs. We help people make positive changes in their lives through in‑patient, outpatient and school‑based programs, along with supportive services – from basic needs to employment assistance.

- Conduct comprehensive substance use and psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Treat and diagnose co-occurring disorders medical and mental health conditions
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Collaborate with counselors, peers, case managers and physicians
- Educate patients on MAT, medication use, recovery expectations and harm‑reduction strategies.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals and families.
Monday‑Friday;
Dayshift. This is a PRN/Temporary position intended to provide coverage during a planned employee leave of absence.
- Licensed APRN (CNP) through Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Valid DEA with prescriptive authority.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a MAT/OBOT setting, psychiatric, or mental health setting.
- Previous knowledge of mental health and/or addictions is required.
- Previous experience with systems such as Methasoft and Methadone pump, preferred.
- Must be professional and team player working together for the benefit of our clients.
