Nurse Supervisor — Night

Pay: [40 - 44hr]
Location: Canton, OH Schedule: Night Shift

Our psychiatric programs and therapies help your entire family recover from the struggles with mental health disorders and/or traumatic events.

Be the steady hand on the unit. As a Nurse Supervisor, you coordinate care, mentor the team, and keep the milieu calm, safe, and moving forward—no matter what the shift brings —providing a calm, vigilant presence while others rest.

• Serve as on‑shift clinical leader: assign staff, prioritize admissions/discharges, and coordinate with intake and ED transfers.
• Support RNs/LPNs with assessments, med administration, restraint/seclusion per policy, and timely documentation.
• Lead real‑time de‑escalation and code responses; ensure post‑event debriefs and learning.
• Validate rounds, safety checks, and environment‑of‑care standards; elevate facilities/security needs.
• Precept new hires and students; champion competencies and policy adherence.
• Ensure continuity of care overnight with vigilant observation and timely documentation.
• Manage after‑hours admissions and urgent needs; prepare a thorough handoff to the day team.

• Active RN license; BSN preferred.
• 2+ years inpatient psych or emergency psych experience; prior charge experience a plus.
• Calm communicator with strong critical‑thinking skills.
• Must be 21 or older.
