About This Role

As an RN in the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic’s Mercy Hospital, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey, interacting directly with patients and their families while enhancing your nursing skills.

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)

Experience:

• 1+ years of current acute care RN or Emergency Department experience

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Completion of Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) preferred
