RN Ambulatory - Cardiac Diagnostics

About This Role

As an RN on the Cardiac Diagnostics team at Cleveland Clinic’s Mercy Hospital, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey, interacting directly with patients and their families to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education.

• Pay: $41.00/hour
• Location: Canton, OH
• Facility: Mercy Hospital
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures and specialized patient care equipment.
• Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.
• Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transitions of care.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)

Experience: One year of recent experience as an RN

Licenses &

Certifications:

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN);
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required or obtain within 6 months of hire
