Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Canton, OH

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday as required

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system required

• 18 months of specialty experience completed within a single location
• Demonstrated ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months

• Opportunity to work in a well-established acute care environment with a structured onboarding and orientation process
• Contract extensions available for high-performing travelers, with assignments lasting up to 18 months
