Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Canton, OH

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments as required during orientation
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required facility modules prior to start date and annually as directed
• Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and documentation standards throughout the assignment

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Emergency Department nursing
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• Demonstrated Epic EMR experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment during orientation (maximum of two attempts permitted)

• 18 months of Emergency Department experience within a single location
• Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity of compliance-driven assignment requirements

• Opportunity to work in a high-acuity Emergency Department environment with a reputable healthcare system
• Contract extensions available for qualified travelers, with assignments of up to 18 months
