Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Canton, OH

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate evaluations
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday as required

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification in hand at time of submission
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Demonstrated Epic EMR experience required

• 18 months of combined permanent experience within a single Med/Surg Telemetry location
• Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity completing pre-start compliance modules
• One verifiable professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from within the past 12 months

• Opportunity to work in a well-established acute care environment with a structured orientation and compliance process
• Contract extensions available for high-performing travelers, with assignments eligible for up to 18 months
