New Grad RN Resident - Rehab Unit

The New Grad RN Resident position at Cleveland Clinic’s Mercy Hospital is ideal for recent nursing graduates seeking to provide exceptional care in a supportive environment. This role focuses on delivering patient-centered care in the Rehabilitation Unit, working closely with a success coach.

• Pay: $36 - $56/hour
• Location: Canton, OH

• Department/Unit: Rehab Unit
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey.
• Interact directly with patients and their families to enhance their experience.
• Provide healthcare education as needed.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when necessary.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required.

• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience required.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
