Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring 18 months of recent L&D experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Labor and Delivery experience in home unit, preferably within the last 3 years
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the Labor and Delivery specialty from within the past 12 months required
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital nursing department
• Assignments may include labor/induction patients, circulating role in the OB-OR, and antepartum care
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Experience with EPIC Stork charting is preferred but not required
• Provide nursing care across labor/induction, OB-OR circulating, and antepartum assignments
• ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation, with a passing score required on both
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
