Build it. Own the response. Drive the standard.

Position Summary

Standard Printing Company is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the build-out of our ISO 9001 quality system and take ownership of customer complaint resolution.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead the continued build-out of our ISO 9001 quality management system and to take ownership of customer complaint resolution. Our ISO program is in its early stages, and this position will play a critical role in developing the structure, documentation, and discipline needed to mature it into a fully functioning, audit-ready system.

Equally important, the Quality Manager will serve as the primary owner of customer complaint investigations and responses, ensuring customers and internal stakeholders receive timely, well-documented answers and consistent follow-through.

The Quality Manager will partner with leadership and production to lead corrective and preventive actions, train production operators on quality standards and inspection techniques, and influence improvement across departments without direct authority. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver who builds systems, gets answers fast, and earns trust through follow-through.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the continued build-out and maturation of Standard Printing Company’s developing ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including processes, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Own the customer complaint resolution process end-to-end, delivering prompt investigations, root-cause analysis, and clear written responses to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales on quality-related customer concerns, providing fast turnaround and consistent follow-up.
  • Establish and maintain document control, calibration records, and quality documentation needed to support ISO certification.
  • Lead internal and external audits as the ISO system matures.
  • Partner with leadership and production to develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Train and mentor production operators in quality processes and visual inspection techniques.
  • Collaborate with shift leads to ensure consistent quality standards across departments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, defects, and rework.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or printing quality management.
  • Experience building out or maturing an ISO 9001 quality management system (not just maintaining one) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer complaint resolution with professionalism and speed.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 systems and quality documentation practices.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across departments without direct authority.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or QMS systems preferred.
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Six Sigma certification a plus.
