Currently, our client is looking for a Quality Manager.

Duties of the Quality Manager include:

• Ensure manufactured products meet company and industry quality standards
• Oversee and improve quality inspection procedures
• Coach, train, and manage quality assurance employees
• Manage and update quality system and quality procedures
• Work with management, production, and engineering to discover and resolve quality assurance issues
• Ensure quality documentation (PPAPs, Control Plans, etc) is completed and correct
• Lead internal and external quality audits
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues with materials
• Use continuous improvement initiatives and KPI data to improve quality assurance

Requirements for the Quality Manager:

• Prior experience in quality assurance leadership at a manufacturing facility
• Experience in a job shop, machining manufacturer, or metal fabrication environment is highly preferred
• Strong leadership skills and a positive management mentality
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards
• Knowledge of quality inspection equipment
