AVI Food systems at Aultman Hospital is seeking candidate for a Full-Time
Over Night Retail Cook/Food Service Attendant
. Shift is 5pm – 330am/3-4 days per week
. Great starting rate
of $18.00/hr. with continual opportunities to make more money. Understanding of basic food safety and experience in a high-volume cafeteria is preferred.

• Must have at least 1 year of cooking experience
• Prepare hot and/or cold foods, properly store food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Cooking with Fryers, Ovens, and Grill Experience
• Maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils.
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail, and dining areas.
• Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact, and greeting guests.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep production consistent to our standards and to set a positive example for the shift team.
• Able to communicate clearly on the IP Phone with hospital staff throughout the shift while maintaining retail needs.
• Follow AVI operational policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, stocking, and merchandising.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Ability to learn quickly and work well independently
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Ability to work as part of a team

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Available to perform many different tasks during each shift.
