Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Merchandising
Overview
Position Summary... What you'll do... Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy: and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Receives stocks and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility by managing inventory flow following company policy and procedures for utilizing equipment appropriately.
Maintains safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, following procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following company steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and cleaning product displays, maintaining modular integrity, and processing defective merchandise.
Ensures club pick up orders are filled and staged, and audits for accuracy. Proactively identifies customers who need help and assists them with technology services and items. Works toward a respectful and collaborative workplace that aligns with Walmart values and supports associates, customers, and members across the organization.
- Operate and maintain forklifts and ensure safe handling of pallets and merchandise.
- Receive, organize, and manage inventory, including stock flow, shelving, and paperwork.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with self-service technology and product purchases.
- Maintain safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, including hazardous materials handling and safety reporting.
- Keep the sales floor and displays clean, organized, and in good condition; stage promotions and seasonal merchandise.
- Fulfill club pickup orders, stage products, and conduct occasional accuracy audits with Merchandising Associates.
- Assist customers with technology services, identify shrink opportunities, and maintain organized stock.
- Demonstrate respect for individuals, act with integrity, and serve customers with a customer-first mindset.
Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift and certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications Customer service experience, retail experience, supervising a team.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00*
- The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
