Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser Floater (part-time) Canton, OH 44708

Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser Floater you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00 to $15.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience.
  • Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
  • Hallmark part‑time employees are offered voluntary benefits that include medical, dental, vision, etc.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the week.
  • Average weekly hours are between 2-20 hours.
  • Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day engagement
    :
    Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products inside and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for communication with supervisors, reporting, providing feedback, and completing surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.
  • Holiday support
    :
    During peak seasons such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may work additional days, extended hours, or on the holiday itself, including weekends.
  • Department resets
    :
    You may be part of a team that installs Hallmark fixtures, relocates card departments and products, and resets card sections. Remodel assignments are typically notified two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
  • Team support
    :
    As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you support other team members as needed within their territories.
  • Physical Requirements

    This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms. You must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds during the workday and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may need to climb stairs or step ladders.

    Basic

    Qualifications
    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Able to read, write, and understand English.
    • Can grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Able to operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
    • Have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
    • Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
