Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic, Building Maintenance

• Work Hours : 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, Tuesday - 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm Wednesday-Friday - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Saturday
• Pay Rate : $21.38 ($10 an hour Add-On for HVAC License) (shift differential of $1.00 is included)

SUMMARY

Performs maintenance, preventative, and repair services.

• Follows through on all assigned work orders for maintenance and handyman repair services to completion;
• Performs routine general building maintenance including painting, drywall, and minor electrical/plumbing repairs;
• Performs routine and preventative maintenance service on the Agency’s HVAC systems;
• Assembles and installs program equipment as required;
• Develops written plans and proposals for minor construction and remodeling projects as required;
• Follows Board Policies and Procedures for obtaining bids and prices for materials, parts and supplies that are essential in the maintenance of Board properties and equipment;
• Clears snow from parking lots, doorways, and walkways as needed;
• Mows, trims and mulches the Agency’s grounds.

Must have extensive, hands‑on paid job experience in the general maintenance field to include plumbing, carpentry, electrical machinery, and HVAC maintenance.

Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience with proven work and attendance record.
