Field Diesel Technician – Utility Trucks, Digger Derricks & Aerials

What challenges will you solve?

Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining aerial, construction, and light/heavy-duty truck equipment.

Handling inspections, troubleshooting, parts replacement, and repairs across rental, customer, and company assets.

Could this be your background?

Journeyman Technician, Vo-Tech graduate, Veteran, or hands-on mechanic from construction, agriculture, or trucking.

Strong mechanical foundation and eagerness to learn.

Training on utility equipment is provided for qualified mechanics.

Truck chassis

Freightliner, Peterbilt, International, Mack, Ford, Chevrolet, RAMCranes

Load King, Terex, Manitowoc, Elliott, National Applications Boom  Trucks, Cranes, Bucket & Dump Trucks, Digger Derricks, Utility & Specialty Equipment How will you spend your time?

Truck & chassis:
Work on medium/heavy-duty diesel platforms; run diagnostics with Cummins Insite, Detroit, Snap-On; complete DOT inspections.

Utility equipment:
Service aerial/bucket trucks, boom trucks, and digger derricks; verify LMI/LML systems; perform dielectric testing.

Hydraulics:
Pinpoint leaks, rebuild cylinders, interpret schematics; troubleshoot pumps, booms, outriggers, PTO systems.

Electrical:
Track down power/ground/CAN issues; read diagrams; meter-based testing; repair batteries, harnesses, ECM/TCM, and more.

When and how you’ll work Monday–Friday day shift with overtime as needed.

What you bring

Valid driver’s license and a set of mechanic tools.

Education from high school trades, Vo-Tech, or diesel programs; military wheeled/track mechanic experience; or on-the-job hands-on training.
