Electrician

Snelling Staffing is looking for hire an Electrician to work in the Canton Area.

Weekly Pay
Hourly Wage of $26-$34 Based on experience
Shift is:
Monday - Thursday 6:00 am
-4:30 pm
3 day weekends
No Busline (must have your own transportation)

Duties
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment on construction sites in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes such as the NEC (National Electrical Code).
Read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics to accurately execute electrical layouts and system designs.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical installations and repairs.
Conduct testing of electrical circuits using tools like the ohmmeter, ammeter, and multimeter to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering strictly to safety protocols for each voltage level.
Collaborate with other construction professionals such as frame carpenters and project managers to coordinate installation activities.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, test results, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings, with a strong understanding of electrical systems on construction sites.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical wiring and systems.
Hands-on experience with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) used in electrical work.
Knowledge of NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and safety regulations.
Ability to use testing equipment such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols for electrical installations.
Familiarity with frame carpentry concepts is a plus for coordinating structural aspects of installations.
