Field Service Technician

Location: US-OH-Canton
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide customer service and support during field visits
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Interface with the Engineering Dept. to diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Understand customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations and briefings
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Comprehend installation and maintenance manual
- Understand shipping bills of materials packing and marking methods
- Complete purchase requisitions and submit internal requisitions
- Provide quotes to customers for replacement parts
- Troubleshoot, test, measure, and repair equipment on site
- Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings
- Five years’ experience in a production environment preferred
- Personal Protection Equipment Training (PPE), Lock Out-Tag Out Onsite training available
- Forklift and Overhead Crane Certification
- Onsite training available
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25lbs.
