Maintenance Mechanic - Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
This position performs preventive maintenance and diagnoses mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize equipment downtime and support continuous manufacturing operations.
We are looking for a candidate with strong industrial maintenance experience, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings while following all safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Pay & Schedule $18.00 - $25.00 Hourly (Based on Experience) 1st shift:
Monday‑Friday: 6:00AM – 2:30PM
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Maintain and repair 3‑phase electrical systems up to 480 volts.
- Replace motors, bearings, belts, gearboxes, pumps, sensors, and other machine components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Install, relocate, and assist with the setup of new production equipment.
- Maintain facility utilities, including air compressors, lighting, overhead doors, and basic building systems.
- Complete preventive maintenance records and work orders accurately.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Assist with spare parts inventory and recommend equipment improvements.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- OSHA 30‑Hour certification is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and 3‑phase electrical systems (up to 480V).
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance testing equipment.
