HPC Industrial – CDL Drivers/Equipment Operators

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for Class A or B CDL Drivers/Equipment Operators with tanker endorsement to join a safety‑conscious team. The CDL Operator is responsible for the safe and proper execution of all HPC Industrial jobs across all service lines, supervising single‑task jobs, and completing turnarounds with management oversight at client sites per company policies and procedures.

• Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer.
• Hands‑on operation of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment.
• Operate special equipment such as Ultra‑High‑Pressure pumps, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
• Inspect surfaces to ensure conformance with company and customer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment.
• Perform duties related to liquid vacs, air machines, and jet rodders.
• Direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
• Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
• Complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, driver’s logs, and comply with all vehicle policy and DOT requirements.
• Load and unload hoses, unload vacuum truck at the dump site, and provide general field maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Execute required cervical spine activities and hold a double‑trigger hydroblast shotgun with both hands.
• Climb ladders, work from scaffolding, and station platforms up to 200 feet.
• Tolerate confined spaces minimum 5‑foot diameter.
• Hold a 50‑lb back thrust on a 66‑inch pipe for at least one hour.
• Use negative‑pressure and air‑supplied respirators.
• Drive heavy equipment for long periods.
• Wear protective clothing and equipment (Nomex coveralls, back belt, slickers, rubber boots, fresh‑air mask, escape pack, hard hat).
• Work in extreme climate conditions (heat index 95+°F, 98% humidity, or sub‑zero temperatures).
• Be exposed to dust, fumes, exhaust, and highly pressurized fluids; hearing protection required for noise levels > 85 dBA.

• Class A or B CDL, no restrictions, licensed to drive manual transmission trucks.
• Tanker endorsement and experience operating manual transmission trucks.
• Knowledge of operating emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers.
• Experience operating a vacuum truck and familiarity with wet and dry vacuum equipment.
• Valid CDL and other company driving policy requirements.
