Automotive Alignment Technicians

Overview

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring for Automotive Alignment Technicians in the Lindale, TX area. This is a full-time role with Mavis at state-of-the-art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers.

• Use the latest equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs as needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires, or equivalent education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Preference for having a state inspection license.

Active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive movements associated with vehicle and tire maintenance. Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
