Follow the plan of care defined by the supervising Physical Therapist and perform only those procedures you are qualified to perform;
Instruct and assist patients in active and passive exercise, gait, functional activities, ADLs, transfers, and mobility training;
Observe and report patient responses and changes to the supervising PT/nurse/physician;
Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team;
Educate patient, family, caregiver, and other health-care team members in therapy within the PTA scope
