Warehouse Worker- Cantonment, FL

Turner Industries Group is looking for experienced Warehouse Workers in the Cantonment, FL area.

* Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

* Per diem and relocation are not available for this position. Ideal candidate will reside within 60mi of the job site.

General

Job Description:

Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment and products.

Functional Requirements:

Stores, removes, loads and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that cannot be handles by material handling devices; operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves; reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved , gathered or distributed; assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, or color;

moves materials and supplies from the warehouse and prepares for delivery; fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or stock items; records material items received or distributed; may maintain inventory records; performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain work area; performs additional assignments as required.

Qualification Standards:

· Must pass excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.

· Post offer drug screen and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries, Ltd. Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy

· Hazard Communication orientation/test

· Turner Industries Group LLC. indoctrination

· OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87)

· Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others at the workplace

Physical/Mental Involvement:

Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds structures, etc.; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.;

standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; following oral/written directions; reading; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards.
