Heavy Equipment Diesel FIELD Mechanic

Overview

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, KNOWLEDGEABLE, SKILLED Class-A Heavy Equipment Diesel Field Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Field Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing various types and brands of heavy equipment and diesel engines. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

• Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment and diesel engines (including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks).
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with heavy equipment, diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify faulty parts or components that need repair or replacement.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems accurately.
• Repair or replace defective parts, hydraulics, hydrostatic drives, brakes, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines.
• Must be a Class-A Diesel Mechanic

• Experience or training at a dealership is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues in diesel-powered engines and heavy equipment.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in diesel-powered engines and heavy equipment.
• Experience in diagnosing HVAC systems in diesel-powered engines and heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems in diesel-powered engines and heavy equipment.
• Must be experienced in both diagnosing and repairing, not only different types of heavy equipment, but also different brands of heavy equipment and diesel engines.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience and training.

• 8-hour shift — full-time
• Monday to Friday

• Over 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record
• Must have your own set of tools (FIELD repair position)

This position starts at: $30/hr - $40/hr (depending on experience level)
