Home Care Aide

Addus Family company is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to support elderly, chronically ill, and disabled clients in their homes. In this mission-driven role, you will assist with personal care, grooming, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship, helping clients remain safe and independent 'll follow individualized care plans, observe and report changes in condition, and uphold strict safety, infection-control, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Support safe transfers, mobility, and positioning as directed
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization tasks
• Remind clients to take medications per care plan (no medication administration)
• Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisors promptly
• Follow individualized care plans and all safety, infection-control, and compliance standards
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and engagement in daily activities
• Document care provided according to agency policies and procedures
• Collaborate with care team members and participate in required trainings
