Customer Service Rep, Retail Sales
About the Role
As a Sales Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service, welcome and guide customers through the store, actively sell our products, and offer support and guidance. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to provide customers with all relevant information needed for the best experience. Additionally, you will work on garment refill & care, presentation, and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house, working closely with the rest of the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and guiding customers, supporting them with direct customer service.
- Engage in conversations with customers to give them excellent service.
- Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products across all store areas.
- Promote and sell products effectively.
- Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives.
- Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.
- Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.
- Keep up‑to‑date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers.
- Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.
- Share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues, retaining and sharing skills.
- Follow all procedures, routines and legal requirements in all store areas.
- Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop and support each other.
- Participate in onboarding, introduction processes, trainings and courses relevant for your role and future development.
- Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming, ensuring good garment care.
- Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice and processes.
- Maintain a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house (including stockrooms).
- Support garment presentation, execution and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends and stories following visual and commercial guidelines.
- Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.
- Follow best practice for in‑store OMNI services and in‑store tech services/tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.).
- Support opening and closing of the store.
- Follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role.
- Passion for fashion and everything created in‑store.

- Communicative, creative, curious, motivated, flexible, decisive and action‑oriented.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
- Have sales experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment that can be applied to the role.
- Experience working with customer service in fashion, retail or other service‑related industries.

Compensation:
Sales Associates Pay Rate $12.50 per hour (range may vary based on qualifications).
