This role involves joining Relativity Space to contribute to engineering, manufacturing, and operations that support Terran R, with opportunities to impact the product, process, and culture.
About the Team
The Launch team operates at the intersection of every major aspect of Terran R, from stages and payloads to ground systems, launch, landing, and refurbishment. The Cape location provides exposure and responsibility across the program, with work evolving as milestones progress toward first flights, reuse, and high-cadence operations.

- Knowledge of large-scale structural steel transport, lifting, and installation for truck and ocean freight operations.
- Field machining experience (magnetic drilling, flange facing, line boring).
- Rigging experience across bridge cranes and large off-road cranes, with a focus on safe lifting.
- Experience with portable metrology instruments (laser trackers, scanners) and metrology software (Verisurf or Spatial Analyzer).
- Basic understanding of GD&T and DFMA principles.
- Understanding of transitions from prototype builds to production operations.
