Electrical Engineer, Propellant Generation (Starship)

As a member of the Starship Launch Engineering team, you will focus on the electrical design and field support for propellant generation systems that enable rapid, high-volume production of liquid oxygen and methane. You will work with a group of elite engineers across multiple disciplines to design, install, and activate air separation plants (ASUs), liquefaction equipment, and gas turbine-based power generation infrastructure required to support Starship orbital launch capability.

This position is based at Cape Canaveral, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design for air separation plants, liquefaction systems, and gas turbine power generation plants
• Work directly with internal and external customers to determine electrical requirements/needs and wants.
• Assist in the development of drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial type projects.
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out.
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time.
• Coordinate with the electrical utility provider for design/engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure.
• Provide support and direction to electricians and technicians during the construction and activation of power distribution equipment.
• Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and project stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in the design or build of building infrastructure electrical systems.
