We are looking for an Experienced Staff Electronics Engineer to join a challenging and dynamic team in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and providing mission support on Ground Support Equipment and Special Test equipment, enabling continuing success on the FBM Program. This position will be overseeing multiple efforts relating to sustaining, modernizing, and troubleshooting Yellow Gear, as well as interfacing with our Navy partners on Test Missions and Anomalies.
Location:
This position does not support teleworking. You will need to be onsite at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station Florida and are expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.
What does this role look like? The FBM Program is a long standing and evolving program, and we need your expertise to have continued sustainment support, updates to our products, and support development and delivery of refreshed products to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence. The Electronics Engineer IV is an individual contributor on the LE Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program.
You will support program missions, oversee design, development and integration activities for new Automated Test Equipment (ATE), and oversee and support maintenance and sustainment requirements of current systems. This role blends electrical-hardware design, system integration, and test-equipment development in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
- Oversee Lead Electrical and Software Engineering efforts for new console Designs
- Support Peer Reviews and provide feedback on various data products (electrical schematics, requirements specs, Software design documents, Test Reports and Results, etc.)
- Lead and support proposal and BOE efforts for New Test Console Design and BOE Efforts
- Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems.
- Support and Investigate test anomalies and troubleshooting, system level testing
- Build and maintain working relationships and present status to our Navy Customers on the various projects the team supports
To be effective in this role, you will need:
- Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
- Experience in different phases of the hardware development cycle.
- Excellent Presentation and Communication Skills
- 8+ years professional experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a BS in an engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Software and/or Computer Engineering).
- Detailed HW, SW or Test development experience.
- Ability to obtain and hold a DOD Top Security clearance.

- Cost Account management (CAM) experience.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management and tracking practices.
- Experience with Estimating/Proposal efforts

Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
