Heidelberg Materials is seeking a safety-focused Terminal Associate to support day-to-day operations at our bulk materials terminal. In this hands-on role, you will operate loading, unloading, and conveying equipment to handle cement and aggregates for infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects. You will perform inspections, basic maintenance, and housekeeping while following strict safety and environmental standards. Working in a collaborative, performance-driven team, you'll gain technical skills, support reliable supply to our customers, and contribute to sustainable, innovative construction solutions.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate loading, unloading, and conveying equipment for bulk cement and aggregates
- Perform routine equipment inspections, housekeeping, and basic preventive maintenance
- Monitor product flow, inventory levels, and documentation for inbound and outbound shipments
- Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures and regulations
- Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and plant personnel to coordinate material movements
- Complete logs, tickets, and electronic records accurately and on time
- Assist with troubleshooting minor mechanical or process issues
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement activities
